Review
Cash n Curry has all the bits and pieces you'd expect from a classic pub slot (the Abrakebabra slots range is also themed on UK National dishes!). Expect lots of puns in this game- it's a toungue in cheek pub fruit machine with an Indian restaurant theme. The slot is powered by Microgaming and has 3 reels and 1 payline (other Pub Slots include the Lucky Darts Slot and the Gee Gees Slot). The game’s music is classic Indian curry house - all the classic fruitie features are in this slot: so you have nudges, nudge hold, nudge repeat, gamble nudge and the Straight Hold feature.

The symbols are Poppadoms, Chillies, Limes and Pints of lager, plus a Ruby Ring to finish off the "Ruby Murray"/curry theme. There are also melons, 7s and Bars. You can bet from from 10p (or 10c) to £10 (or $/€10) - so good for a dabble, and you can bet some serious coin as well (not for serious high roller I guess, but fine for most of us).

The Cash ‘n’ Curry bonus game is called Bonus Spice (an no, this isn't a middle agd female pop superstar) – in the top left hand corner of the screen there will be a grid with red, green and yellow balti curries. If you complete a row of 3 balti’s, you set off the bonus game. You'll arrive at the bonus game screen with 24 squares (it's a traditional fruit machine trail feature in other words).

Depending on what you roll on the dice (or rather "spice" you head around the board. Watch your ‘Coolant Level’ - if you run out fo lager, the bonus game ends. The Coolant Level heads  down each time you land on a square when you run out of coolant, you pick up the prize for that square. Compare that to the Apocalypse Cow slot with its bonus trail.

The squares on the board:

  • Bhaji Bonus: ‘collect’ to head back to the game and the reels with the bonus.
  • Big Gulp/ Lose/ Down In 1/ Spillage – avoid! The bonus game ends on these.
  • Top Up! – more ‘Coolant’ for you.
  • Spice-O-Meter – you will see a spice-o-meter with 9 sections. It's a skill-shot. Hit ‘Stop’ to land on 1 of the levels. Each level has a multiplier, that multiplies your bet and pays out.
  • Take a Breather – like Free Parking in Monopoly.
  • Multi Balti – collect for a choice of 3 multipliers. Ty and hit one.
  • Chicken Ticker – you go back to the game where you will land a winning combination. There's a time limit though!
  • Cheeky Half – lager top up for your coolant level.
  • Turbo Boost – this will throw you onto a new square at random.
  • Rogan Dosh – you head back to the game: hit ‘Stop’ to highlight a reel. Hit ‘Stop’ again to pick a symbol which will fill the reels for a win.
  • Bombay Mix – a flashing meter: hit ‘Stop’ to bag one of the multipliers.
  • Belt Buster – back to the game for a number of winning spins. Hit ‘Stop’ on your target winning combination. Be quick!
  • Vindaloot – back to the game for a number of free winning spins. This is a good one for coinage.
  • Curry Go-Round – a good one to hit. Click on ‘Collect’ and you will win 500x your original bet and maybe even another 3 repeat wins.
  • Yes or No Repeater – after the ‘Curry Go-Round’ bonus, you can repeat the 500x win up to 3 times.

So lots of extra chilli sauce on this slot! It's got all the garnishes for your poppadums. The Indian waiter sound over is a real classic.

Cash and Curry Pub Slot- if we were to chosse one fruit machine to play on a desert island (assuming there was electricity of course, it'd probably be this one. Writing thisreview is making me hungry. I am off for a Ruby!
